Well, I guess the short answer is, there's no right or wrong answer. There may be a variety of styles and shapes that suit you!
However, it'll really help to speak to a professional wedding Florist who will help you by looking at your ideas, chatting about your dress shape and making recommendations for you. It's likely that by time you have an initial consultation with your Florist, you'll already have googled a lot of wedding flowers or created a Pinterest board etc, so you'll be able to show us the sort of things that have caught your eye. A really good Florist will be able to advise you as to what will go with your theme and the look that you're trying to create for the whole day. I often hear a great compliment from my Brides, which is that I just GET what was in their heads straight away, sometimes before they even did! I like that compliment very much and it's something I pride myself on.
So, what are your options? There are 3 distinctly different shapes -
Hand Tied
Cascade
Teardrop
And those can often be created in different styles that you'll hear described as -
Wild
Natural
Country Cottage
Formal
Luxe
Round
Neat
Textured
Vintage
And so on.
My advice, is to just google a few images of bouquets and flowers that you like and then seek advice from a Florist.
I thought it'd be helpful for you if I showed you a few examples of different bouquets below, just to give you some inspiration!
