Lizzie and Ben’s wedding at the idyllic Doxford Barns was a celebration of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the couple created a day filled with warmth, joy, and breathtaking beauty.
Lizzie's vision for the florals was a pastel-hued, garden-style. This dream was brought to life with the prettiest fireplace arrangements that filled the barn with a delicate and romantic atmosphere. A soft palette of pinks, lilacs, peaches, blues, and whites, along with the barbs festoon lights and rustic charm, created a truly magical setting.
Lizzie’s dad, a keen gardener, lovingly grew sweetpeas for the centrepieces, adding a personal touch to the day. And when the flowers arrived at the Hayloft Cottage, Lizzie was simply overjoyed, exclaiming "They're absolutely perfect!". A comment all Wedding Florists hope for!
The ceremony in the Threshing Hall, was a beautiful blend of tradition and individuality. As Lizzie walked down the aisle, the couple's friends serenaded them with heartfelt religious songs, creating an intimate and emotional atmosphere.
After the ceremony, guests were welcomed to the barn for a feast of delicious food and flowing drinks.
This beautiful fireplace display was made with our environment in mind, and used eco friendly foam free mechanics, as well as containing some locally grown British flowers from local flower farm, Northumbrian Flowers.
All the Dahlia, sweetpea, Snapdragon, Campanula, Lavatera and some roses, were grown in their amazing flower farm near Hexham.
This whole display was reused and moved across to in front of the top table after the ceremony.
