As a creative person, I get a genuine buzz out of, well....a lot of things, but photoshoots are my chance to play and have fun! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love working with my couples and sprinkling a bit of Floral Quarter magic on their weddings, but now and again it's great to exercise my creative muscles and do something just because it gives me that buzz!
Now and again, I get an idea in my head, a vision, and I just can't rest until its out of my head and caught on camera. So I like to pull together a team of suppliers that I know will execute this vision perfectly!
I've been in Floristry for almost 10 years now and running my own business for 9, so I've made a whole lot of contacts and have learned a lot about their different styles and ways of working. So I know exactly who to call on when I get one of my ideas! The last couple of times I directed a shoot like this, I've used a group of suppliers that I now affectionately call my 'A Team'.
So I'd like you to meet -
This talented bunch of ladies (as well as Emily's Dog called Bear!) packed our things and headed off to Capheaton Hall for the day. We were so lucky to get in just before lockdown was announced!
Over the past week or so, i've been showcasing the centrepieces from this shoot, to show some of the options available to you for your big day, but now i'm pleased to be able to blog everything from the whole photoshoot!
Remember to get in touch if you want to ask me about your own big day too.
