Love Is Blind! The Wedding Flowers

Back in June 2023, I received an email which I'm so so glad I replied to. Because it involved the biggest and most exciting thing to ever happen to me in my business!

I must admit, at first, I was a little sceptical at this company I'd never heard of, asking me to sign an NDA so they could tell me about their secret project, but I trusted my gut (and the advice of my business coach Debbie Marks), and the rest is history. I'm now the Wedding Florist for the very first UK version of Love Is Blind! Pinch me!

The hardest part about this has been keeping it a secret for so long, but now the show has aired, I'm now able to tell you just how absolutely flipping proud as punch I am of me and my whole team, that we not only did we get asked to do this amazing job, but we absolutely aced it!

After months of planning, we created 6 stunning weddings, bringing our own skill and creativity to the vision and experience of the Art Director Luke Fuller, for the very first UK version of Netflix's Love Is Blind.

What an experience! Wynyard Hall has never looked so good.

There were weddings in the Conservatory, Ballroom and the Statue Gallery/entrance hall.

It was hard work and long days, but the process of filming this show was an absolutely amazing experience, and such a bonding one for me and the team. We'd do it again in a heartbeat.

To see what we created, through the lens of a camera... Wow! You can really see how much work goes into a show like this. All the little details you see on screen, take hours of work with input from Director, Producers, Art Team, Lighting and Camera crew, everyone! This part of it was particularly fascinating for me.

As a wedding florist, it's always great when I get professional images of my work, but having a whole Netflix crew film it is on another level!

First was Maria and Tom's wedding in the Ballroom (images by Paul Santos Photography)

Next up was Sabrina & Stevens beautiful Statue Gallery wedding, which is normally just the entrance hall, but CPL Productions transformed it into a cinematic style wedding, adorned with white and green flowers

Nicole and Ben's tropical delight in the conservatory. Full of stunning bright pink and orange colours and tropical leaves. Nicole's bouquet even had a mini pineapple in it!

Jasmine and Bobby's wedding was in the Ballroom and we absolutely transformed the place, with dramatic reds and trailing foliages everywhere!

Now back to the Conservatory to transform the room for Cat & Freddie's ceremony. Full of pastel blues and pinks

Finally, we had Ollie & Demi's pretty ceremony in the Statue Gallery, with golds, blushes and dusky pinks.

Wynyard Hall was the perfect setting, and we are so so honoured to have been involved in this amazing series with award winning production company, CPL Productions, under the superb art direction of Luke Fuller.
